"United we stand, Divided we fall" is a phrase that has been used in mottos of nations and states and in songs since 1768 when John Dickinson first used it in his revolutionary war song, “The Liberty Song”.  The basic concept is that unless people are united, it is easy to destroy them.  Mr. Dickinson’s words apply today in many capacities, from politics to business, and the phrase is true for the MMA as well.  As a group, we are able to have a louder voice in matters of legislation, regulation, and compliance than any of us as individual businesses would have.  In the past 24 months we have seen more regulatory change than we have in the past ten years combined.  Speaking with a loud, unified voice is more critical now than ever.  As a MMA member you also receive the benefit of NAMB membership.  The MMA and NAMB lobby our State and Federal representatives for your survival.
