New England Mortgage Showcase

May 23rd – 24th, 2006

Seaport Hotel, Boston, MA

The broker attendance at the 2006 Showcase strained the resources of a hotel setting.

We accurately predicted free attendee exhibit hall admission would result in multiple attendees from our member companies.  More Brokers, Originators, Loan Officers, and staff nearly exceeded the limitations of a hotel setting. Our advance planning for 2007 and move to the Hynes Convention Center allows wider aisles and increased exhibitor aisle frontage. Expect crowds of attendees again but with more space to hold them in 2007.

A few words about our 2006 sponsors......

2006 was the first year we offered a wide range of sponsorships to exhibitors and it truly added to the value of the conference. Your sponsorships made it possible for the conference committee to either improve a feature or add something new.  The resulting improvements increased attendance, created a better experience for the attendees, and benefited all exhibitors.  Our thanks to the exhibitors and sponsors of 2006.

The Massachusetts Mortgage Association’s 2006 Conference and Exposition held May 23rd – 24th at the Seaport Hotel in Boston was a tremendous success with record attendance. Exhibitors and Attendees gave the thumbs up to the expanded hours and amenities made possible by the generosity of our sponsors.

Our predictions that the changing industry and increased Loan Officer attendance would strain the resources of a hotel setting also proved accurate. Our advance planning for 2007 and moving the conference to the Hynes Convention Center have set the stage to for an unprecedented number of mortgage brokers and loan officers to access the service providers they need. Wider aisles and increased exhibitor aisle frontage will provide the area to efficiently bring these groups together. Expect crowds of attendees again but with more space to hold them in 2007.
